Group Pilates at Elysium

Three ways to move. One Elysium approach.

Choose from Reformer, Sculpt and Matwork. Each class offers a different movement experience, while sharing the same focus on quality teaching, thoughtful progression and helping you build strength and confidence.

Choose your class

What do you feel like doing today?

You do not need to choose one style forever. Many Elysium clients mix Reformer, Sculpt and Matwork across their week to build a more varied Pilates practice.

01

Matwork

The foundations of Pilates, without the machine.

Matwork develops strength, control, mobility, breathing and body awareness using your own body, gravity and small equipment. It is where the Pilates method began and remains an important part of a complete Pilates practice.

  • Build core and whole-body control
  • Develop mobility and movement quality
  • Strength you can take beyond the studio
  • Beginners pathways available
02

Sculpt

A dynamic circuit-style Pilates class.

Sculpt brings variety to your Pilates practice by moving through a circuit of exercises and equipment. It is a whole-body class designed to build strength, endurance and control while keeping the session varied and engaging.

  • Full-body circuit-style format
  • Varied Pilates equipment and small apparatus
  • Strength and muscular endurance
  • A great complement to Reformer and Matwork
03

Reformer

Strength, control and flow on the Reformer.

Our 45-minute small-group Reformer classes use spring resistance and the moving carriage to challenge the whole body. Expect a combination of strength, control, mobility and purposeful movement.

  • Maximum 7 participants
  • Full-body strength and control
  • Supports posture, mobility and movement confidence
  • Modifications available within a group-class environment

Not sure which to choose?

They each bring something different.

There is no single “best” Pilates class. The right option depends on what you enjoy, how you like to move and what you want from your session.

Class You’ll use Think Great if you want
Matwork Mat, body weight and small equipment Foundations, control and movement quality Core strength, mobility, technique and body awareness
Sculpt A variety of Pilates equipment and small apparatus Dynamic, varied, circuit-style Pilates Strength, endurance and plenty of variety
Reformer Reformer Controlled, flowing, resistance-based movement Strength, control, mobility and a full-body workout

New to Elysium?

Try more than one style before you decide.

Pilates does not have to mean doing the same class every week. Our Awareness Pack is designed to give new clients an easy way to experience Elysium group Pilates and discover the class styles they enjoy most.

  • 4 group classes
  • New clients only
  • Try different Elysium group-class styles
  • A simple first step before choosing a pack or membership

Why Elysium?

Group classes with more thought behind them.

Small-group teaching

Our studio environment allows instructors to see how clients are moving and provide guidance throughout the class.

Real variety

Reformer, Sculpt and Matwork let you vary the way you train rather than relying on a single piece of equipment.

Thoughtful progression

Classes are designed to challenge you while still giving instructors room to offer appropriate options and modifications.

More than exercise

We want clients to build strength, body awareness and confidence they can carry into everyday movement.

Need more individual support?

Group classes are not always the right starting point.

If you are rehabilitating from an injury, returning after surgery, managing a more complex condition or simply need a program built around your individual movement needs, our Studio Pilates pathway is likely to be more appropriate than a standard group class.

Ready to move?

Choose a class or start with the Awareness Pack.

Whether you love the Reformer, want the variety of Sculpt or prefer the foundations of Matwork, there is room to build a Pilates routine that works for you.

From 5 September 2026, Elysium’s core general group-class formats are Reformer, Sculpt and Matwork. Booking conditions, pack expiry periods and cancellation policies apply.
